Live Oak Bank Pavilion At Riverfront Park
Superstar singer, songwriter and show stopping performer Darius Rucker will make his downtown Wilmington debut at Live Oak Bank Pavilion At Riverfront Park on Friday, June 19, 2026, as part of his Songs Of Summer Tour 2026. As the lead singer of Grammy winning and platinum selling rock band Hootie & the Blowfish as well as a member of the Grand Ole Opry and Grammy winning country artist, Darius Rucker will headline an unforgettable night of music.
Darius Rucker will be joined by country music's newest talent. Up-and-coming artist George Birge whose current single “Mind On You” is currently rotating on country radio and viral sensation Austin Williams whose video for his “90s Rap Mashup” has taken the world wide web by storm. Rucker will perform some of his greatest hits like “Wagon Wheel” and “Alright” in addition to songs from his latest album “Carolyn’s Boy”.

Darius Rucker will be bringing his Songs Of Summer Tour 2026 to 20 cities across the United States this summer. Toledo and Grantville will be just a couple of the cities joining Wilmington and Canandaigua and many others in which the famous country star will perform his music and sing along with thousands of fans to some of his and the music genre’s most iconic songs.
Your Turn to Sing (You’ll Be Singing) Country classics and the biggest hits from Darius Rucker will dominate his set as he performs songs like “Wagon Wheel,” “Alright,” “It Won’t Be Like This for Long,” “Beers and Sunshine” and “For the First Time.” On record the songs are catchy, but live they will make an unforgettable impact.
A three time Grammy winner as the front man for the rock band Hootie & the Blowfish, Rucker’s first solo release, made him the CMA New Artist of the Year for 2009 a first for any African American solo artist and earned him a spot in the prestigious Grand Ole Opry.
With really cool little singles like “Mind On You” that actually turned into a number one country single, and songs like “Beer Beer Truck Truck”, “Cowboy Songs” and the brand new country record “It Won’t Be Long”.
You may know him from his 90s Rap Mashup that went viral and climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes country charts. He has also released singles “Wanna Be Saved” and “Bury My Bones.” Williams recently released his EP “Broken Things Break Things.”

Live Oak Bank Pavilion will offer several ticket options in a venue that will accommodate up to 7,200 people. Those options will include 2,400 seated tickets, 4,800 lawn tickets and several VIP areas. Concessions featuring food and beverages will be available at a variety of stands throughout the venue, offering everything from snacks and drinks to local fare. There are no on-site parking lots. Street and public parking decks are conveniently located near the site and within walking distance to the Live Oak Bank Pavilion. Free on-street parking is available in downtown Wilmington with a slightly longer walk to the venue. We recommend arriving early to secure parking in the closest lots to the venue.
